Barry Beckett studied on the fledgling film college on the London University of Printing using the former CBS manufacturer Bob Morgan, after gaining a qualification in GRAPHICAL DESIGN and Picture taking. With fellow pupil Patrick Cassavetti performing as movie director, he filmed and edited the wrestling documentary, “Females and Gentlemen and Wrestlers” in 1973. From 1974-76, he worked for Manufacturer, Leon Clore at Film Contracts in London, in the editing and enhancing section with Barney Greenwood for Karell Reisz, Stephen Frears, Larry Pizer, Anthony Simmons. From 1976-1978, he was editing and enhancing and audio editor for Crossroads of Civilization, for manufacturer David Frost and Director Tony Mayer. South Lender Display, film editor for Melvin Bragg, trimming movies on Harold Pinter, David Hockney, Ken Russel.
