Calin Peter Netzer was created on the very first Might 1975 in Petrosani [Petroschen], Romania. His family members is one of the Transylvanian Saxons, a ethnic minority of German descent who lives since years in Romania. He grew up generally in Cluj [Klausenburg]. Netzer’s dad was a dental practitioner and emigrated to West-Germany in 1981, while Netzer’s mom and he himself implemented in 1983. It was the very first Romanian film to earn the top prize from the Berlinale and internationally famous as a fresh masterpiece from the Romanian New Influx.
