He was an organist in St. Petersburg, Florida, and found NY in 1936 like a free-lance organist, ultimately performing musical and dramatic applications on radio and in theatres, and becoming a member of the ABC personnel. Becoming a member of ASCAP in 1947, his additional popular tunes included “Aged Prairie Wagon”, “Small Darlin'”, “God Is usually Almost everywhere”, “In Suniland”, “In Flanders”, “Sunset Lullabye”, “Our Graduation Waltz”, and “St. Patrick’s Bells”.
