Frank Terry toured European countries and Asia for the legitimate stage professionally referred to as “Nat Clifford”. He returned to America and became a humor gag guy for silent film comedies. He became relatively notorious for an regrettable event that occured on August 24th, 1919 inside a film studio room in Downtown LA. He inadvertingly paid a thought-to-be dummy bomb prop to “Harold Lloyd”. It quickly exploded in his hands and Harold Lloyd after that lost two fingertips and a thumb from his ideal hands. Frank Terry later on became “Laurel and Hardy’s” humor writer for his or her movies in the 1920’s to the center 1930’s.
