Freddy Soto began like a limousine drivers for Richard Pryor. After producing $5 from his 1st spending stand-up gig at St. Mark’s Jazz Golf club in Venice, Soto became the doorman in the Humor Store in Western Hollywood and produced $25 a night time. He ultimately headlined comedy night clubs, opened for vocalist Marc Anthony on the 30-town tour, and made an appearance on late-night chat shows. Soto toured the country in 2001 and 2002 among the 3 Amigos including Hispanic comics Pablo Francisco and Carlos Mencia and a Dvd movie from the concert tour premiered by Miramax in-may. In addition to many tv pilots for UPN and CBS, Soto landed a component in the 2004 film “Spanglish,” portion being a translator for the housekeeper. Soto is survived by wife, Cory, and 3-year-old little girl, Cruz.
