Born in Tx, Harriet Sansom Harris got involved with acting as a young child. At seventeen, Harris was recognized at New York’s famed Juilliard College. Upon graduation, Harris became a member of The Acting Firm, a repertory group produced with the first alumni of John Houseman’s Play Division from the Juilliard College. She spent 3 years with the business before she still left to work mainly in regional movie theater. This resulted in an effective Broadway and Off-Broadway profession.
