Igo Sym was created in Innsbruck, Austria in 1896. Before functioning as an professional he offered from 1918-1921 in the Polish military. After employed in silent movies he was involved by the theatre in Warsaw, where he frequently appeared along with his “Singing Noticed”. When in 1939 the Germans went over Poland, Sym began to collaborate with them. At the moment many Polish people where head-hunted, and several of these where superstars. Sym worked well for the Gestapo and caught a few of these looked people (included in this was the popular vocalist Hanka Ordonówna). When the Polish underground-gouvernment heard bout Sym’s contacts using the Gestapo, he was carried out in his house on March 7th 1941.
