Izabel Grondin’s brief movies were screened around the world and amassed numerous honours over time. In 2004 she released the very first short horror-fantastic movies compilation via Quebec: Folies passagères: contes garbage et sournois (aka Brief Madness: Garbage and Insidious Stories). Her short Illusion has won the “Particular Jury Award” on the Fantasia International Film Celebration (2009, Montreal) while her newest short, The Desk, won many awards including “Best Foreign Film” on the L.A. Neo-Noir Film and Script Celebration (LA, 2015) and “Greatest Dramatic Brief” at CineKink NYC (NY, 2015). She’s focusing on her first feature film, Le quartier des oubliés (aka The Forgotten) plus some other film’s tasks. She’ll launch another compilation in oct 2015: Folies passagères: contes difficulties et déviants (aka Short lived Madness: Shady and Deviant Stories).
