Created in the Philippine Islands for an U.S. Military physician, Lambie was a U.S. Military pilot from 1933-36 before signing up for Eastern Airlines being a co-pilot to famed aviator (and onetime – actually – co-star) Dick Merrill, functioning the brand new York to Miami operate.
