Jean – Paul Dekiss was created on Oct 30, 1946 in Friedrichshafen. His parents are Hungarian source. He graduated in 1968 Institut des hautes études cinématographiques. He became a screenwriter and movie director of short movies (1975 – 1994). Two of these were offered on international celebrations: Les Murs d’une révolution (Leipzig, Cracow ; Greatest Documentary Film nomination for César Honor) and Car parking (Cannes). Later on he structured the production organization 47ème parallèle (1995-2002) and offers produced several films, included in this: Dieu n’existe pas (standard selection, Berlin, 1994), The Dark Swallow, aimed by Georgi Djulgerov (Youthful Western Jury Award at Mons International Event of Love Movies, 1999), and Les Garçons Witman (standard selection, Cannes, 1997).
