Jessica Fogle is a vocalist/songwriter/classically-trained pianist, with an MFA in Music Theatre Composing from NYU’s Tisch College from the Arts and a soundtrack to a movie-musical under her belt (“Were the Globe Mine” – which won 15 honours, including Ideal Music in the 2008 Nashville Film Fest). Her truest like of writing single music and creating albums, nevertheless, continues to be with her since youth, at which period she created rings with neighbours and later gained multiple state-wide songwriting honours, complete with college assemblies on her behalf primary music. The record is certainly piano-based, mellow and atmospheric, with sensitive alto vocals and her normal appreciate of MIDI space/twinkle noises. It also includes a number of visitor music artists, including Hunter Zhao on cello, and Maddie & Daphne Jackson on banjo-ukulele, bongos, and vocal harmonies. It had been documented with Ian Gorman of La Luna Documenting & Audio in Kalamazoo, MI. The record was nominated for “Greatest Record by a fresh Musician” and “Record of the entire year” with the 88.1 WXRT Jammies (2015) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was a finalist for “Best Jazz Record” (because of its jazz-folk elements). She’s been likened by her supporters to Jenny Lewis, Rufus Wainwright, Joanna Newsom, and Kitty Power, amongst others.
