John Hamilton produced his initial professional sale at age group of 19 when legendary manufacturer Milton Subotsky optioned a 15-web page treatment to get a gritty thriller called Deceased Town. Hamilton graduated to journalism and film criticism, composing for several newspapers, publications and periodicals on both edges from the Atlantic on topics as varied as Diana Dors, Robin Askwith and Roman Polanski. After adding to several books, he wrote ‘Beasts in the Cellar’ – which Film Review called ‘a thrilling go through…glorious stuff’ and SFX magazine hailed it as ‘the greatest ever single subject matter book in neuro-scientific English horror cinema. It continued to appear around the The Independent’s Best Books List. Since that time he has finished two even more books both released in ’09 2009. Hamilton has written several documentaries and his initial whole screenplay went into creation from FGS Productions, taking pictures on places in East London and Pinewood Studios. His second script continues to be optioned by Picture 10 Entertainment and continues to be scheduled in 2010 2010. He lives in Kent along with his wife and 3 children
