Previous mayor of NEW YORK through the turbulent 1960s. He was a staunch supporter from the Civil Privileges Bill even though it had been an unpopular position during his Congressional years in the 1950s and early 1960s. When towns burned following a murder of Martin Luther Ruler, NEW YORK was the exemption due to the trusting romantic relationship Mayor Lindsay got constructed with the city’s BLACK community. He’s credited with checking more possibilities for minorities than every other mayor in NEW YORK history. This is at the trouble of alienating many people from the white middle income.
