In 1986, at age 15, Josh suffered a serious brain injury inside a head-on car collision. The remaining frontal lobe of his mind was smashed. After 10 times inside a coma he awoke. The proper part of his body was paralyzed. He couldn’t walk or chat and had problems viewing. Today, Josh resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where he proceeds to raise consciousness for brain accidental injuries. In June 1993 Josh cycled over the United States increasing money and consciousness for various mind injury rehabilitation organizations.
