Kay Strother was the youngest from the Bell Sisters (the work used their mother’s maiden name), an RCA saving group in the first 1950s. These were “found out” Halloween party, 1951, within the L.A. amateur Television system “Peter Potter’s Visit a Music”. Kay, and her old sister Cynthia, got many radio and jukebox strikes, their most well-known becoming “Bermuda” (which Cynthia had written) and which reached #7 within the Billboard graphs in early 1952. In addition they reached #10 with “Steering wheel of Lot of money,” #19 with “Hambone” (documented with Phil Harris), and #26 with “Rutza Rutza.” “Bermuda” offered over one million copies. The Bell Sisters made an appearance around the united states live and on radio and tv with Bing Crosby, Bob Wish, Dinah Shoreline, Nat Ruler Cole, Frank Sinatra. In addition they did two trips of Korea using the USO in 1953 and 1954.
