Jeff Probst may be the Emmy Award-winning sponsor of Survivor (2000). He received the inaugural Emmy for Greatest Reality Show Sponsor in 2008 and once again in ’09 2009. Probst also received an Emmy as Host/Maker of Survivor (2000) back 2001. He was also voted among People Magazine’s Most Beautiful People. Like a filmmaker, Probst wrote and directed the LionsGate released indie film, Finder’s Charge (2001), starring Ryan Reynolds and Academy Award nominees Wayne Earl Jones and Robert Forster. Finder’s Charge (2001) premiered in the Seattle International Film Event where it all won “Ideal Picture” and a “Ideal Director” honor for Probst. Additional honours: “Ideal Screenplay” at Technique Fest, “Breakout Movie director” at Sonoma Film Fest. Probst was also chosen among the “Ten Directors in the Globe to view” in a string presented with the American Cinematheque showcasing innovative and interesting brand-new directors from all over the world.
