Famed group leader, composer, author, arranger and conductor, knowledgeable at Ithaca University, the brand new York Armed forces Academy, and Duke College or university (where he led the dance orchestra). He proved helpful being a freelance arranger, and shaped the Music group of Renown in 1938, touring until 1947. He became a member of ASCAP in 1952, collaborating with Ben Homer and Bud Green.
