Massoud Kimiaei was created in Tehran in 1941. He became popular when in 1969 he aimed his second film, Gheisar (1969), that was regarded as a turning stage in the Iranian movie theater; he depicted the ethics and morals from the romanticized poor operating class from the Ganje qarun (1965) genre through his primary protagonist, the titular Gheisar (1969). But Kimiaei’s film produced another genre in Iranian well-known movie theater: the tragic actions drama. Without the academic trained in cinema or theater, and with just a few many years of encounter as assistant director, Kimiai became a historical number in the Iranian cinema.
