She attended the Manhattan College of Music and Arts and learned to try out the Piano and Harpsicord. Her dad is really a Basson participant in the brand new York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. In the first 1970s, Melissa examined songwriting on the School School from the Arts in NEW YORK, under the path of Paul Simon and, at 15, she was documenting industrial jingles. She was only 1 of nine candidates recognized at Simon’s course away from over 100 candidates. She also sang with Bette Midler and was also her back-up before going single. She is wedded to Kevin De Remer and, in 1982, gained the best feminine vocalist of the entire year award.
