Born in Britain of Jamaican parents (her mom Vera a skill historian and museologist and her dad Charles an professional/broadcaster/comedian), Michael received her first education and what she considers her most formative years overseas. At age ten she migrated to america with her mom and two siblings. Surviving in Maryland and afterwards Washington, DC, Michael gradually adjusted towards the American life-style. She continued to study performing at Howard School on her behalf undergraduate level and continuing at NY University’s Tisch College from the Arts on her behalf Masters. Before Michael’s function in film and television she enjoyed memorable performances on stages through the entire country, especially is her encounter on Broadway in the critically acclaimed Ragtime.
