Nicola Alexandrivoch Benois was created in 1901, in St Petersburg, Russia. His dad, called Alexandre Benois, was an attorney and the designer for the Imperial Mariinsky Opera Home in St. Petersburg. The family members lived within their grand mansion close to the Opera Home, which was constructed by grandfather Nikolai Benois. Nicola Benois analyzed artwork under his dad and worked well as scenographer and arranged designer for a number of from the Mariinsky Opera and Ballet productions. He emigrated from Russia to Paris, France in 1923. There he worked well for Sergei Diaghilev like a stage arranged designer for a number of from the “Russian Months” ballet productions. He later on relocated to Italy, pursuing his dad Alexandre Benois. There he worked well as the main scenographer in the Teatro alla Scala (La Scala).
