A former journalist, Norman Hudis began composing comedy during his stint in the RAF during WW Two, when he wrote for camp displays. After his release, he made a decision to try his hands at writing takes on, with varying examples of achievement. He was ultimately offered employment as an apprentice screenwriter at Pinewood Studios, a posture he held for just two years. Nevertheless, during that period he never in fact had written anything for the display, which discouraged him to the stage where he stop and became a freelancer. He quickly secured employment composing scripts, mainly for B photos, becoming one of the most prolific writers for the reason that field. Hudis eventually caused maker Peter Rogers on the film and movie director Gerald Thomas on another; when both decided to start the “KEEP ON” series in 1957, they provided the work of series article writer to Hudis.
