Michael produced his first proper foray into directing using the mock-documentary Oakland Underground (1997), a humor about an underground occult music picture in Oakland, CA. Following that, Michael produced Illusion (2004) with Kirk Douglas, that was released theatrically in 2006 after accumulating over twelve festival honours, including Greatest Screenplay in the Hampton’s International Film Event, Best Feature in the Lake Tahoe International Film Celebration and The Viewers Award on the Sonoma International Film Celebration. With Illusion (2004), Michael was critically lauded for his capability to mix great filmmaking with philosophical depth. Immediately after Illusion (2004), Michael began collaborating using the posting company Hay Home to create and direct several films like the documentary YOU ARE ABLE TO Heal YOUR DAILY LIFE (2007), starring internationally renowned metaphysical writer and instructor, Louise L. Hay as well as the Change (2009), starring internationally best-selling writer Dr. Wayne Dyer, along with Michael DeLuise and Portia de Rossi. His latest use Hay House can be an first film anthology known as Stories of Everyday Magic (2012), which explores significant philosophical tips through seductive and extreme, character-driven stories.
