Anita Doron was created in Transcarpathia from the previous USSR – just a little known property of nomadic spirits, barley mush and apricot brandy. She was among the youngest released poets of the united states and was raised in a family group of thin air mountaineers. At age group 12, Anita’s first film – an environmental protest piece – elevated the ire from the Soviet bureaucracy who attemptedto sabotage the procedure. A decade afterwards, following an unlawful escape through the USSR, Anita’s brief films (“Not really a Seafood Tale” and “Elliot Smelliot”) premiered on the Toronto International Film Festival and had an effective television run, and a Banff Rockie Award nomination. Her initial feature, “THE FINISH of Silence” starring Sarah Harmer, earned several international honours in 2006 and it is written by Mongrel Mass media within the prestigious Celebration Collection. Anita was among 3 directors on “Late Fragment”, North America’s initial interactive feature film and the state collection of TIFF and SXSW 2008. Anita directs music movies through 235 Movies and has shot and co-directed a CBC documentary with Veronica Tennant about Judith Thomson and the initial play “Body and Spirit”. She’s created, shot and aimed brief documentaries about music artists in Toronto for CitySonic and AUX, along with directors Bruce McDonald, George Vale and Peter Lynch. Her brief cartoon film on Tony Dekker/Great Lake Swimmers premiered at this year’s 2009 Toronto International Film Celebration. Anita is a recepient of the 2010 TED Fellowship.
