Queen Marie of Romania was created Princess Marie of Britain on Oct 29, 1875. She was the child of Queen Victoria’s child Albert and his wife Marie who was simply the child of Czar Alexander II of Russia. She spent a lot of her early life in Britain, but her dad was a navy man so she moved from Britain to Malta and to Germany when she was young. She spent a lot of her period developing up with her siblings aswell as her many cousins. When she was an adolescent her cousin, the near future Ruler George V of Britain seen her in Malta. Of these trips they dropped in like and wished to marry. Nevertheless their mothers didn’t such as this idea. Soon after nixing the thought of her nephew being her son-in law Marie’s mother made a decision to set Marie up with Grand Duke Ferdinand, the heir towards the King of Romania. They enjoyed one another and wedded on Dec 29, 1892. Soon after the relationship they transferred to Romania where they resided within a castle with Ferdinand’s Uncle Ruler Carol I. Soon after this Marie became pregnant afterwards having a baby to future Ruler Carol II. This resulted in Marie having a baby to six small princes and princesses a few of which where not really the kids of Ferdinand and many of whom would marry the kids of Marie’s cousin Sophie, Queen of Greece.
