Popular singer & actress in operettas and revue, for the stage from 1927.(Casino-theater) She played at Talk Noir in Oslo, and in addition had guest performances in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she also appeared within a film called “Cocktail” in 1937. In 1939 she became extremely popular in the Norwegian comedy “Hu Dagmar” where she played the title function. Randi Heide Steen was an associate of a well-known Norwegian theater family members…. her parents had been stars Signe Heide and Harald Steen, she was the sister of stars Harald Heide Steen and Kari Diesen, and mom of celebrity Anne Marit Jacobsen. She received the Kings medal of merit in silver (1959).
