Aleksandr Lemberg was a Russian-Jewish cinematographer and film professional dynamic in Moscow, Russia and in Riga, Latvia. He was created Aleksandr Grigorievich Lemberg on Oct 22, 1898, in Russia. His dad, Grigori Moiseevich Lemberg, was a professional photographer and cinematographer of early silent movie theater. Little Aleksandr Lemberg produced his debut at age group 18, in 1916, as his father’s helper. Through the Russian Civil Battle of 1917 – 1922, Aleksandr Lemberg produced documentaries that afterwards became section of Fortress for the Volga (1942) and in addition worked in various other early Soviet movies. During 1919-1920 Aleksandr Lemberg was cinematographer with “agitpokhod” and “agitpoezd.” From 1918 to 1924 he was officially assigned to create documentaries about V.We. Nevertheless, in 1938 – 1941 he became a professional photographer for the Exhibition of People’s Accomplishments in Moscow. Through the Second Globe Battle, he was photo-correspondent using the Crimson Military. After 1946 he came back as professional photographer for the Exhibition of People’s Accomplishments in Moscow. In the 1960s, Lemberg performed supporting roles in a number of Soviet movies. He passed away on June 9, 1974, in Moscow, Russia.
