Scott was created Anthony Scott Flippen. Eager to seek independence from a tight religious lifestyle, he sneaked out of his house in the useless of evening. He visited a friend’s home and remained for per month before coming back house. When punished as a kid, Scott will be forced to duplicate the Bible. Afterwards, he tried to make an impression his dad simply by attending Lee College or university in Tennessee. He was captured smoking weed and was expelled. Stapp after that shifted to Tallahassee because Jon Morrison (of _The Doorways) got once attended college there. Stapp reconnected ties along with his aged friend, Tag Tremonti, jamming on the electric guitar. In 1995, they shaped a music group with drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall. Their first name was “Nude Young child”, they nevertheless transformed it to Creed, on the recommendation of Brian Marshall. In Sept 2000, Marshall still left Creed. Creed’s highest offering album can be “Individual Clay” and it is accredited diamond with the RIAA. Creed officially folded on June 4, 2004. The various other members from the music group reunited and shaped a new music group, “Alter Bridge”. Stapp cites The Doorways, particularly Jim Morrison, as you of his primary musical affects, and performed using the surviving users of the music group for any televised concert in 1999. Following this, Stapp also performed using the music group, once again, on “Stoned Immaculate: The Music from the Doorways” tribute recording. Stapp lives in Miami with wife, Jaclyn Nesheiwat. After departing Creed, Scott pursued a single profession and his 1st album, “THE FANTASTIC Divide”, premiered in 2005. Ahead of this, Stapp added a song towards the “The Enthusiasm from the Christ: Tunes” album. In Dec of 2008, Stapp met with Tag Tremonti in the Hard Rock and roll Hotel in Florida and a reconciliation occurred. They soon met up with drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall, where each of them agreed to place past differences apart and reunite as Creed. After months of speculation, on Apr 27, 2009, Creed officially confirmed their reunion on the website. A fresh recording and US tour was announced. The tour operates from Aug. 6 – Oct. 14, 2009. The brand new album, entitled “BACK TO WHERE IT STARTED”, is defined to become released on Oct. 27, 2009.
