Sean Connolly can be an actor and tone of voice artist who was simply raised in Derbyshire, Britain by Anglo-Irish parents. He relocated to Birmingham in the mid-eighties and qualified in the Birmingham College of Speech Teaching and Dramatic Artwork, where he also fulfilled his celebrity wife Bella Hamblin. Immediately after graduating Sean clinched his 1st theatre work playing the Cheshire Kitty and Humpty Dumpty in Alice in Wonderland in Barnsley, Britain. He was extremely proud to obtain his prized Collateral cards playing a kitty and an egg! Considerable audio drama work soon followed, both for the BBC & Impartial companies including recently taking part in Keith Horrobin in BBC Radio 4’s long term soap The Archers. His British tv debut was Benefit (1986) for Central Tv taking part in The Librarian within an show called Bully Males featuring character acting professional Graham Stark, popular for looks in The Red Panther film series. Further credits adopted such as English Sci-Fi series Jupiter Moon (1990), ITV children’s tv preferred Woof! (1989) (reverse Nigel Havers), Resnick: Tough Treatment (1993) reverse Jim Carter and Tom Georgeson, Cruel Teach (1995) with David Suchet, The Expenses (1999)_, _Doctors (2003)_ with Stephanie Cole as well as the Channel 4 Tv nurse play No Angels (2004). Sean’s feature film credits include Kiss Kiss (Bang Bang) (2001) (contrary Stellan Skarsgård, Chris Penn and Paul Bettany). In newer years credits consist of N.F.A. (No Fixed Abode) (2012), iWitness (2014), We Will be the Freaks (2013) and in 2016 The Marker (2016) all for the award-winning 104 Movies. Sean also co-produced his initial feature film in 2012, the award-winning United kingdom paranormal secret thriller The Casebook of Eddie Brewer (2012), starring Peter Wight and Ian Brooker as Eddie Brewer. He was also the film’s casting movie director! Sean was a co-employee Producer over the 2014 documentary Even more Canal than Venice that was nominated for an RTS Midlands Center Prize. In 2015 he performed Alf Robertson in the RTS Midlands Center Award-Winning short play Fight Lines (2014) once again with 104 Movies and British Indication Vocabulary Broadcasting Trust. Together with his screen acting credits, Sean has gathered some notable ‘voice’ credits in film and television, mainly with Aardman Animations as well as the BBC where he voiced 30 characters in 13 episodes in the classic Claymation series Rex the Runt (1992), in colaboration with Studio Canal, Sean voiced 10 characters in the Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA 2016 nominated Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) and on Boxing Day 2015 he was heard playing Hector the top Llama in the Aardman Animations/BBC – Christmas Special Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas (2015). Sean in addition has been heard over the CBeebies Tv series Small Prairie Canines (2010) playing all of the male Prairie Pup characters in over the 10 shows, contrary Kate Sachs little girl of Andrew Sachs. Also for the Oscar-winning firm BreakThru Movies, Sean performed all of the personality voices (a family group of mice and villainous kitty!) in the CGI Animated Brief Papa’s Guy aka Isan Poika (2010), the film continued to become Oscar Long-Listed in 2012 ultimately passing up on a nomination for Greatest Animated Short.
