Created in Montreal in 1978, Simon Galiero started directing brief fiction and documentary motion pictures in 1998. In 2008, he gained the Prix Jutra for greatest brief/mid-length film for his unbiased production Notre jail est el royaume. His initial feature-length film, Nuages sur la ville, earned the Grand Prix Concentrate (Greatest Canadian Film) at this year’s 2009 Celebration du Nouveau Movie theater.
