The Guadalajara Trio, who also appeared as “The Guadalajara Guys”, were a trio of guitarist-singers who appeared in a number of movies in the 1940s. Made up of Lee Ramos, Jesús Castillón, Lamberto Leyva, and Mario Santos, the group also performed with several orchestras. Generally decked out in stereotypical (Hollywoodish) Mexican clothes, the group specific in the favorite Latino rhythm music from the 1940s and 1950s. Castillón and Santos afterwards proved helpful in the Desi Arnaz Orchestra and will be observed in the orchestra in a few shows of “I REALLY LIKE Lucy”.
