Valentina Pavlovna Kovel was created on January 23, 1923, in Petrograd (now St. Petersburg), Russia. She survived from the Siege of Leningrad through the Second Globe Battle. In 1946 she graduated from your Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music, and Cinematography. From 1946-1956 she was an celebrity of Puskin Episode Theater in Leningrad. Kovel produced her film debut in 1957, in Don Quxote, by movie director Grigori Kozintsev. From 1966-1997 Valentina Kovel was a permanent person in the legendary troupe of Bolshoi Drama Theatre (BDT) under directorship of Georgi Tovstonogov. Kovel caused Tovstonogov for 23 years. Following the loss of life of Tovstonogov, Kovel continuing her use a superb ensemble of stars at BDT. Among Kovel’s most widely known stage functions are her roles in “Kholstomer” (Tale of a Equine) by Leo Tolstoy, “Khanuma”, and “Revizor” (Inspector-General) by Nikolai Gogol. Valentina Kovel had an extraordinary acting profession on stage. She was honored using the name of People’s Designer from the USSR. She received several awards and adornments for his functions on stage and in film. Her filmography included 16 functions, she also performed over 100 functions on stage. She was wedded to acting professional Vadim Medvedev. Valentina Kovel passed away on November 15, 1997, in St. Petersburg, Russia.
