Vladimir Vladimirovich Kenigson was created on Novembr 7, 1907, in Simferopol, Russian Empire (now Simferopol, Ukraine). He examined acting on the Studio room of Simferopol Play Theatre and joined up with the troupe in 1925. After having toured all around the USSR, he was asked by Aleksandr Tairov to become listed on the Moscow Kamerny Theater and proved helpful there from 1940 until Tairov’s pension in 1949. From 1949 – 1986 Kenigson was a permanent person in the troupe at Maly Academic Theatre in Moscow. There his stage companions were such superstars as Yelena Gogoleva, Varvara Ryzhova, Yevdokiya Turchaninova, Vera Pashennaya, Varvara Obukhova, Yelena Shatrova, Elina Bystritskaya, Boris Ravenskikh, Boris Babochkin, Mikhail Zharov, Nikolai Annenkov, Mikhail Tsaryov, Konstantin Zubov, ‘Viktor Pavlov’ (qv, Yuriy Solomin and several other significant Russian stars. Kenigson gave prize winning shows as Yaroslav Prus in ‘The Makropulos Affair’, predicated on the eponymous book by Karel Capek. Vladimir Kenigson was designated People’s Designer from the USSR (1982), was decorated using the Purchase of Crimson Banner of Labor (1974), and received additional awards and adornments for his accomplishments as an acting professional. He was granted the Festival Reward of Czechoslovakia in 1973 for his stage shows as Yaroslav Prus in ‘The Makropulos Affair’ for the reason that country. He performed over 60 tasks on stage and 30 tasks in film and on Television. Vladimir Kenigson passed away on November 17, 1986, in Moscow, USSR.
