Adam was raised in the Scottish city of East Kilbride, where he attended the neighborhood East Kilbride rep theatre organization – the same starting place for fellow Scots, acting professional John Hannah. His enthusiasm for performing lasted throughout his child years and he was accepted to Glasgow’s prestigious RSAMD, right from senior high school.
