C.O. “Doc” Erickson, an professional manufacturer, provides over thirty years’ knowledge as a manufacturer and creation manager on a lot of Hollywood’s biggest movies. He started his profession at Paramount Images, serving as creation supervisor on five Alfred Hitchcock movies: Rear Screen (1954), To Capture a Thief (1955), THE DIFFICULTY with Harry (1955), THE PERSON Who Knew AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF (1956), and Vertigo (1958). He still left Paramount to be John Huston’s associate manufacturer over the Misfits (1961), Freud (1962), and Reflections within a Golden Eyes (1967). He was creation supervisor on Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s THERE IS a Crooked Guy… (1970). He also spent 3 years supervising film creation for Brut Productions and afterwards became connected with Robert Evans on Chinatown (1974), Players (1979), Urban Cowboy (1980), and Popeye (1980).
