Freia Canals studied music theory, tranquility and piano in the Royal Conservatory of Music of Barcelona, the town where she was created. She researched in Barcelona, Madrid and London where she acquired her MA Music Theater (Central College of Conversation and Drama, College or university of London). She was granted Best Support Acting professional for her efficiency of Miss Hannigan in Annie, and made an appearance in humor and improvisation displays at Common Studios Portaventura, aswell as different musical productions: Snoopy the Musical, Pippi Longstockings, Performing in the torrential rain, Bloodstream Brothers and Nunsense. Her efficiency in The Makers (aimed by BT McNicholl and Jerry Zaks) earned her a nomination for the ¨Gran Via¨ Award (the Spanish Tony Award). In Spain, she also hosted Television shows and was presented in different Television series. In London: Mathilde, The Devil’s Story, and Xmas Dreams. In NY: Sex, human relationships & sometimes like, Ser o no Cer…vantes, La Estupidez, Midnight in Havana (Jerry Orbach Theatre),danced in the Minskoff Theater on Broadway & most recently performed Off-Broadway in Putting on Lorca’s Bowtie (The Duke). She actually is a voice-over skill, area of the New York -panel (and in addition Interviewer’s Helper) for the International Auditions of School of London. In 2011, Freia founded her very own bilingual theater firm that toured the U.S (Alita the Present) & most recently she’s been the Helper Movie director for The Gronhölm Technique on the Falcon Theater in LA.
