Vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Gerald Linford “Gerry” Beckley was created on Sept 12, 1952 in Forth Worthy of, Texas for an American dad and an British mother. Beckley started playing the piano at age group three and began playing guitar a couple of years later on. In 1962, Gerry was a guitarist in the instrumental surf-rock music group the Vanguards in Virginia.
