Glenda Farrell began performing in the theater as a kid. Her first main film role is at the gangster film Small Caesar (1931) with Edward G. Robinson. In 1932, she became a Warner Bros. agreement actor. She actually is perhaps most widely known for her function as Torchy Blane in the 1930s Warner Bros. film series, where she made an appearance in seven Torchy Blane movies. After departing Warner Bros. in 1939, she continuing to surface in many film, tv and Broadway has through the entire rest of her performing career. She earned an Emmy Prize in 1963 for greatest supporting celebrity for the tv screen series Ben Casey.
