Jeff Kalmus has over twenty years of knowledge in the visual results industry and spent some time working being a visual results supervisor and stereographer going back 5 years. Before going after a profession in visual results, he worked well like a freelance professional photographer and assistant video camera operator. Jeff started his profession in the visible results market in 1988, operating as an optical associate at Vehicle de Veer Picture Effects, and spent 3 years at Manager Film Studios. In 1993 he relocated to Digital Domain name and over another nine years done over 30 movies and numerous industrial and special location projects, shifting from Checking and Documenting Supervisor to Imaging Supervisor. After departing DD, he offered as the Imaging Supervisor for Cinesite Hollywood and Warner Bros. Feature Computer animation. In 2003 he started are the Affiliate VFX Supervisor for SW Digital, focusing on the film Sky Captain as well as the Globe of Tomorrow. Then began freelancing like a VFX and Imaging Supervisor on numerous movies. In 2008, Jeff started operating as the visible results supervisor at ICO VFX and supervised over 300 photos for Disney’s Surrogates starring Bruce Willis. Jeff was instrumental in the growth of the business and its preliminary foray in to the globe of stereoscopic transformation and visual results. He created the stereoscopic equipment and pipeline for the business and oversaw the R&D and appearance advancement. In the 3 years that Jeff worked well at the business, he supervised many vfx and stereo system conversion tasks including: Harry Potter 7 PT1 & 2, Fast Five, Trip 2: The Mysterious Isle, and Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away. He offers demonstrated extraordinary capability at leading groups of performers on complex pictures in both mono and stereoscopic platforms.
