Jen McGowan’s 1st feature, KELLY & CAL, starring Juliette Lewis, Cybill Shepherd and Jonny Weston premiered at SXSW where she received the Gamechanger Movie director Honor. The film premiered theatrically by IFC Movies to rave evaluations such as evaluating McGowan to famous brands Alexander Payne and Nicole Holofcener. McGowan’s previous brief films CONFESSIONS OF THE LATE BLOOMER and Contact played at more than a hundred film celebrations worldwide, winning many, and also have been written by PBS, NBC Common, Pants International and Canal In addition. TOUCH became qualified to receive the brief film Oscar when it earned the qualifying Florida Film Event. Early in her career, McGowan worked her way in the commercial production ladder at many notable production companies including RSA, Radical and Propaganda and was fortunate to focus on many features like the Oscar-winning BOYS DON’T CRY.
