Screenwriter Lester Cole, who’s known in movie theater history primarily seeing that a member from the “Hollywood 10,” an organization who defied the home Committee on Un-American Actions investigation to their political values who had been black-listed with the industry because of their defiance, was created on June 19, 1904 in NY to a Polish immigrant family members. His initial desire was to become an professional, and Cole fell out of senior high school at age sixteen in 1920.
