At age eighteen, while climbing with friends, Marcus fell over a hundred ft breaking and his back several locations. After weeks in a healthcare facility he recieved the news headlines that he’d not regain usage of his hip and legs. Two weeks later on he walked from the hospital. This encounter became the motivation for his 1st feature film, One Fall. In 2008 he formed Compass Entertainment to spotlight the development and production of impartial, character driven movies. This year 2010, the Academy of FILM Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) awarded his script for the film, ‘One Fall’ a location in it’s long term collection. He is a adding article writer for ‘The Cover’ magazine and it is a visitor lecturer on Entrepreneurship in the Film Market at Skidmore University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). In 2013 he founded Child Fears a task designed to train children to conquer their worries through storytelling.
