Melissa Hibbard is a professional photographer and filmmaker. She gained her BA in Shifting Picture Arts in 1996 from the faculty of Santa Fe where she analyzed documentary filmmaking. Upon graduation, she relocated to LA and worked well in the film market as a skill movie director on feature movies for five years. Her photos have already been exhibited in america and abroad within the last 6 years. She’s created three documentaries on video. “Breaking Breads” (2000) which premiered on PBS and “Sir Alfred of Charles de Gaulle Airport terminal” (2001) have already been well received from the press and worldwide viewers. “Shahrbanoo” (2002) 1st premiered on PBS where it received among the best rankings for an individually created documentary. She also co-produced the feature film “Day time Break” (2005) that premiered in the Toronto International Film Event and has received several awards all over the world. In 2003, she co-established a nonprofit business – ArteEast – its objective statement to market the arts and civilizations of the center East and its own worldwide diasporas in america; she was a plank member as well as the ArteEast Online Movie director through 2007. She actually is currently creating a brand-new documentary in Iran, entitled “Acquiring Home”.
