Michael Copner was created in 1954 in Seattle, Washington. A very pleased member of the infant boomer era of enthusiastic film enthusiasts, Michael was a devoted fan of Bela Lugosi and Forrest J. Ackerman’s “Famous Monsters of Filmland” mag. In 1973 Michael got employment being a film projectionist on the adult picture movie theater The Green Bird Theater in Seattle, Washington. He previously previously maintained theaters for the Sterling Entertainment Organization and proved helpful in the air, newspaper and tv advertising section for Connor Theatres in Tacoma. Furthermore, Copner worked being a projectionist on the Embassy movie theater. He joined up with the MOVIES Providers Union in 1977. Michael ultimately moved to LA, California. In 1990 he released the film mag “Cult Films;” the initial concern was a tribute to Bela Lugosi. “Cult Films” went for fifteen years and 41 problems altogether. Copner produced the documentary “Over the Path of Ed Hardwood” in 1990 and was a surveillance camera operator over the documentary “Ed Hardwood: Look Back Angora.” Furthermore, Michael appears being a vampire in the fun brief fright feature “The Vampire Hunters Membership” and was interviewed in the wonderful documentary “Schlock! THE TRICK Background of American Films.” However, Copner’s life had taken a convert for the worse in the middle 2000’s; he experienced serious health insurance and economic problems due to epilepsy and a human brain tumor. His state of mind deteriorated as the years continued and he finished up surviving in poverty in a variety of Hollywood flophouses. On Apr 18, 2008 Michael attacked Hollywood Reserve and Poster memorabilia shop owner Eric Caidin using a screwdriver. Copner was imprisoned on multiple fees including assault using a dangerous weapon and eventually put in prison. Michael premiered from prison after portion a two calendar year sentence.
