Oliver Platt was created in Windsor, Ontario, to American parents, Sheila Maynard, a sociable employee, and Nicholas Platt, a profession diplomat. His parents had been both from upper-class family members, and his maternal great-grandmother, Cynthia Roche, was the sister of Princess Diana’s maternal grandfather, Maurice Roche. Platt spent his child years in Washington DC, Asia, and the center east. Oliver graduated having a Bachelor of Arts level with a significant in Episode in 1983 from Tufts University or college. He then qualified at Shakespeare & Co. with Kristine Linklater.
