Ras was created in Hampstead, north western London. The child of performers Clive Barker and Rosemary Bruen, he spent his child years between London as well as the idyllic environment from the Malvern hillsides in Worcestershire. In his summer holidays, he’d regularly be at a skill gallery starting or sitting in a documenting studio along with his brother, ex studio engineer, Tad Barker – who’s the co-founder and director of 1 of the largest pro-audio rental companies in Europe. Although 1st attending operating classes at age 7, Ras worked running a business before (in his personal terms) “finally succumbing towards the unavoidable” and likely to drama school. Since attending the Academy of Live and Executing Arts, he has appeared in countless independent movies, and many tv series for BBC, Thames, and LWT. He lives in Buckinghamshire.
