Valerie Chow was created in Hong Kong seeing that Ka-Ling Chow, the just daughter of the well-off family members. In 1991, she gained Miss Hong Kong Pageant as the initial runner up. She returned to Hong Kong School to complete her law level before coming back, in 1993, to her performing career. Chow’s profession kicked off with an excellent start with “Wan 9 Zhao 5” (20 Something), where she performed Alice, a woman who attempts to find real love in Hong Kong’s golf club moments. Then arrived her big break, “Chungking Express”, where she plays the girl who broke Tony Leung’s center. She had just a few moments, but produced quite the feeling. The blurry picture of her putting on a bra and a skirt, travelling the house as though she actually is swaying in and out of space (and Leung’s storage), produced Chow symbolic of incomprehensible seduction. After Chungking Express, Chow did a 20-eposide Television series, playing the exterior interest of the honest married guy; who ultimately divorced his body fat, cooking-oil-soaked wife. The series itself was an enormous achievement, but her function had not been warmly received, and her profession began to move downwards. She continued to star within a string of insignficant movies, which either demonstrated her being a two-dimensional seductress, or attempted unsuccessfully to “cleanse” her picture being a home-wrecker. She finally made a decision to proceed to the Expresses and start clean. However, Chow’s profession in Hollywood was similarly uneventful, apart from her Revlon agreement. After time for Hong Kong, she found employment doing work for the marketing and events department of Street Crawford, the Hong Kong exact carbon copy of Neiman Marcus; and performing became her part-time work. Ironically, among her most recent part-time careers, a 40-event TV series known as “Hap Qua Yin Som” (Curing Hearts), was her biggest achievement ever. Her function, a lawyer called Flora, was named the perfect contemporary woman–smart, gorgeous, and indie. The achievement of Curing Hearts resulted in another major aesthetic contract–Chow signed to end up being the spokeperson for Neutrogena’s whitening face mask, a new collection that premiered in Hong Kong.
